I'm Songoine, a 73-year-old woman from northern Kenya. Raised in a nomadic family, I spent my childhood herding livestock. I got married young and raised my children while depending solely on livestock for a livelihood. Unfortunately, climate change caused recent prolonged droughts that swept away all our livestock, making it difficult for me to afford basic needs. I experience unbearable joint pains and require frequent clinic visits that I can't afford. Therefore, I kindly request support from well-wishers to help me access healthcare and other essential needs.
