My name is Meshami, a 62- years- old man, born and raised in the northern parts of Kenya to a nomadic family that kept moving in search of pasture and water. I spent my childhood herding cattle. I was later initiated into young adulthood (moranism) where I am expected to protect the society and animals from external aggressors.
I got married and lived with my family and fully depended on livestock as our primary source of income. Life changed recently due to severe droughts that swept away all our livestock. I also suffered a fracture of the hip and since then I spent most of my time in and out of the hospital.am appealing for support from friends and well wishers so that i can afford my medication and live better.
