My name is Kadidi Lesamaita, a 70 years old lady born and raised in the northern parts of Kenya to a nomadic family that constantly moved in search of pasture/water for their animals. I spent my entire childhood herding cattle and didn't get a chance to attend formal education. I got married off very early in my teenage years, and I spent all my years raising my children and taking care of our livestock, until a few years ago when my husband left us due to short illness. I am also now living a restricted life since 5 years ago, I got a fracture on my hips and now I have to use a wheelchair to move. Life has never been the same again, especially that our source of livelihood has also suffered a big blow after the long droughts that swept away all our cattle. Am seeking your support so that i can be able to attend my routine clinics as well as put food on the table.
