My name is Rebecca and I was born and raised in Kiambu County, Kenya.
Recently, I have faced many challenges in my life. Due to the lack of formal education and diversified employable skills, I have to rely on manual labor jobs in coffee plantations to provide for my four children. However, with the cost of living rising and jobs at the coffee plantations reducing due to inconsistent rainfall patterns, it has become increasingly difficult to make ends meet.
Therefore, I am kindly appealing to well-wishers for support to help me achieve my vision of breaking the cycle of poverty and securing a brighter future for my family. I am interested in shopkeeping and would like to manage one that guarantees our sustenance and creates a foundation for my children's education. I strongly believe that education is the key to unlocking opportunities that shape their destiny.
Your support will enable my family and me to access improved food security, nutrition, and much-needed healthcare, which will improve our overall quality of life.
