My name is Meitekini, a 22-year-old and a first-year university student from Narok County.
My life has been filled with challenges from a very young age. I come from a family where my mother has been the sole provider since I lost my father. She is unemployed hence struggling to make ends meet daily. Despite these hardships, my mum has managed to take me to school as she believes education is key to a better life. However, due to the overwhelming financial burden, she is no longer able to keep me in school.
